Grab one of our puzzle books and your favorite warm beverage to take to the rocking chair on the front porch. From there you will soon see deer.
Have fun starting a fire in the fire pit. We provide fire starter and plenty of twigs.
Roast hotdogs or marshmallows on the skewers we provide.
Take advantage of the ceiling fan to either pull air up or down from the vaulted ceiling.
The electric reclining sectional is a comfortable place to put your feet up. Here you can relax in the glow of the LED candles or wood stove.. Contact host if you want to know if the weather would be conducive to using the wood burning stove.
Stream your shows through the Roku on this TV and feel free to use the adjustable TV mount to provide viewing from other angles.
Pop some movie theater style popcorn, kick up your feet, and watch a movie. Our dogs think the popcorn is delicious!
Settle down with your favorite warm beverage while relaxing with a puzzle book.
There are shelves and counter areas for storing your personal items.

If you prefer to bring your own coffee beans, we have a grinder you can use and both single and multi service brewing baskets for the Keurig.
Coffee bar has more than coffee! It also has hot chocolate and a variety of teas.
Coffee bar can double as a buffet counter. Under the counter is a 3 hole crockpot and cast iron skillet. Table will be adjusted to accommodate your group's size.
The dining room table can seat up to 12 people. We will adjust the table size to accommodate your group and ask that guests not adjust the table size.
Socialize together around the dining room table. It's a great place for meals and playing games.
Everyone can eat meals together in the dining room. The bar stools at the kitchen island provide seats for those chatting with the cook. The door leads to the Sunroom.

Start off your morning on the front porch in a rocking chair with your cup of coffee. From here you can listen to the birds and watch the deer in the front yard.

The Guest Quarters is single level and a great place for someone in your group who doesn't want to deal with stairs.
Circular drive - parking in front of Guest Quarters and in the gravel area off edge of driveway - provides space for 7 vehicles. There is no street parking.
There is a circular driveway with a total of 7 parking spaces. For safety reasons we ask that the driveway not be blocked by vehicles. See other photos for parking details. There is no street parking available.
A fifth vehicle can park parallel to the driveway in the area next to the van in the picture. There is no street parking and for safety reasons we ask guests not to block the driveway.
There is space to park 2 vehicles in front of the Guest Quarters. You can back one car in as shown and park another parallel to the house. For safety reasons, we ask guests not to block the circular driveway. There is no street parking.

The front door is equipped with a time sensitive electronic lock-providing you with another entry option. The TV has a Roku so you can log into your own streaming accounts to watch your shows.
Window above couch can be curtained off or opened for for open line of sight to the Guest Quarters. The door to the Guest Quarters also has blinds that can be opened or closed for privacy.
Relax and put your feet up with friends and family. Enjoy a conversation, play games at the table and watch your shows from your streaming account through Roku.

Things to note:

*Stairs & kiddos: The cabin’s top stair tread is shallower; railings may not suit tiny explorers. Families often place those needing single-level living in the Guest Quarters.
*Cameras disclosed: Exterior security cameras face entry/yard areas (including hot-tub zones) for safety, maintenance timing, and guest privacy—so we don’t interrupt you.
*Road: Private unpaved access road; drive slowly (especially with low-clearance cars).
*Parking: Limited; typically up to 7 vehicles depending on size and parking order—see photos for layout.
*Age & verification: Primary guest 25+; Truvi (formerly Superhog) ID verification within 24 hours of booking.
*Booking guest must sign rental agreement and provide credit card for $500 security deposit within 24 hours of booking.
*Visitors: Must be pre-approved; fees may apply.
*The last 0.3 miles of the drive in is on a dirt road. Due to some sections of that road only being 1 lane wide and the pot holes that develop after a rain, you will want to drive slowly and be ready to yield to oncoming traffic. The circular driveway is paved.

Wood Burning Stove:

Available only when outdoor temps allow—please confirm with host.
Wood Burning Stove Package costs $99 per stover for lighting and cleaning. $45 per cart of wood.
Package must be ordered at least one day before arrival.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation for 48 hours after booking if arrival is at least 14 days away at time of booking.

My husband Ken and I love to work together. We got our real estate licenses together and then expanded into Run Rentals—our vacation rental business.
