In this kitchen you can prepare a typical meal, even put together shish kebab to put on the grill and bake a cake for dessert. Cleanup is a breeze with the dishwasher.
This is a great place to sit with a cup of coffee and listen to the birds and watch for deer and other wildlife. This deck is off the bedroom of the Guest Quarters. It has a 5 person hot tub, fire table and propane grill.
Pop up some movie theater style popcorn and watch a streamed show with surround sound while reclining on the electric leather reclining loveseat.
Guests have enjoyed the view while working during their stay.
We provide a variety of flavored coffee and tea. We even have some decaf options. There is a grinder for your coffee beans. There is also some sugar and powdered creamer. There is enough to get you started before you do your grocery shopping.

Watch your streamed shows on the TV from the queen sized sleeper sofa. The Roku equipped TV has a mount that allows you to adjust the position of the TV for viewing from multiple places in the room.
There is plenty of space to move around the room with the queen size sleeper sofa pulled out. The room darkening curtains, ceiling fan and dimmable overhead lights help make this a good sleeping area.

The king size bed has cotton sheets with high thread count. The room has dimmable lights, room darkening curtains and ceiling fan. Storage spaces include open shelving, dresser, side tables and closet space. Patio door leads to deck with hot tub.

Shared Space: The front door is equipped with a time sensitive electronic lock-providing you with another entry option. The TV has a Roku so you can log into your own streaming accounts to watch your shows.
Shared Space: Window above couch can be curtained off or opened for for open line of sight to the Guest Quarters. The door to the Guest Quarters also has blinds that can be opened or closed for privacy.

The shared sunroom is a cozy place to watch TV or test your observation skills through one of our scavenger hunt puzzle books.

Get mesmerized by the flickering flames in the fire pit. Have fun roasting marshmallows or hot dogs in the fire pit with the provided skewers. The firewood is complementary and we provide fire starter and twigs to help you get the fire going.

There is space to park 2 vehicles in front of the Guest Quarters. You can back one car in as shown and park another parallel to the house. For safety reasons, we ask guests not to block the circular driveway. There is no street parking.

The covered gazebo is a place where you can set by a fire table and watch for deer.

Log Cabin and the deck off the Sunroom is reserved for guests who book the Log Cabin. Guests are asked to not enter the garage, wood shed by the Guest Quarters or storage/lean-to.

Good to Know

*Location: Unincorporated Yorkville on a private, unpaved road—peaceful and tucked away.
*Age & verification: Primary guest must be 25+. Truvi (formerly Superhog) ID verification is required after booking; please complete within 24 hours.
*Guest required to sign rental agreement after booking.
*Security deposit of $250 will be required after booking.
*Parking: Limited—tell us your plans/vehicles.
*Pets: Dog-friendly with pre-approval.
*Any visitors you may have during your stay must be pre-approved prior to making your reservation. Fees may apply.
*The last 0.3 miles of the drive in is on a dirt road. Due to some sections of that road only being 1 lane wide and the pot holes that develop after a rain, you will want to drive slowly and be ready to yield to oncoming traffic. The circular driveway is paved.

Wood Burning Stove:

Available only when outdoor temps allow—please confirm with host.
Wood Burning Stove Package costs $99 for lighting and cleaning. $45 per cart of wood.
Package must be ordered at least one day before arrival.

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation for 48 hours after booking if arrival is at least 14 days away at time of booking.
